What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a Church Relations Administrative Coordinator to join our North American Disaster Relief team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Church Relations Administrative Coordinator,you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Maintain accurate records of church contacts and engagement in the Lighthouse Church database.
  • Support the Church Relations Assistant Manager in financial accounting and paperwork for US Rebuild Church Grants.
  • Support the Church Relations Program, when needed, in compiling data for reports and presentations.
  • Assist the DRV Program Manager, when necessary, with scheduling, travel, receipts, or other administrative duties for DRV drivers.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of Lighthouse Church Partners Conference and future events as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?
Serve with Excellence
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with managing data and creating spreadsheets
  • Ability to effectively present information in reports and both internal and external correspondence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
