Senior Software Engineer – ADP (Lifion Team)

Senior Software Engineer to build microservice features for ADP’s Human Capital Management platform. Work with a team of engineers in sprint-based development, writing code, automated tests, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with a team of software engineers to design and implement microservices for Lifion.
  • Write production‑ready code, create automated test cases, and maintain code quality.
  • Participate in daily stand‑ups to align on priorities and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work in three‑week sprints, meeting deadlines and adhering to coding standards.
  • Use technologies such as Node.js, Java, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka, relational databases, AmazonDynamoDB, AmazonKinesis, AmazonSQS, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Solve complex problems related to fault tolerance, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and processes through training, conferences, and self‑study.
  • Collaborate with cross‑regional teams and stakeholders, including leadership, to review initiatives.
  • Provide peer mentorship and knowledge sharing to improve team capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of software development experience in a similar role.
  • Must have experience with Node.js and/or Java.
  • Experience developing software for clients at scale and driving projects from concept to delivery.
