Familiarity with care planning software, safeguarding protocols, and basic first aid certification is commonly required. Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills are crucial for building trust and supporting residents with diverse needs. These skills ensure residents receive quality care and support, fostering a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.
