Safety Coordinator

Full-Time

Are you passionate about workplace safety and creating a culture where employees go home safe every day? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team and help support safety initiatives across our operations.

What You'll Do:

As a Safety Coordinator, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our safety programs while supporting field teams and supervisors in day-to-day safety compliance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company safety programs and procedures

  • Conduct safety orientations and training for new and existing employees

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company safety standards

  • Support supervisors and field crews in identifying hazards before work begins

  • Perform site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incident reports

  • Promote proactive safety practices including near-miss reporting and safety observations

  • Monitor PPE usage and overall safety equipment condition

  • Collaborate with leadership and field personnel to maintain a strong safety culture

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in a safety-related role

  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety management software

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy

Preferred Certifications:

  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification

  • First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification

Work Environment:

This role may involve:

  • Visiting industrial and construction job sites

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical parts

  • Climbing stairs and ladders as needed
