Safety Department: DOT Compliance Drug/Alcohol, Starting at $23.00 hr
Full-Time, Monday- Sunday, Night shift, Hours/Days to be discussed will have set schedule

R+L Carriers has immediate openings for a Safety Compliance Coordinator at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing/processing all DOT & Non-DOT drug testing results. Incumbent will also aid in general Safety Administrators responsibilities shared in the department. (Example but not limited to: general phone calls received in Safety Department, including citations/inspections, vehicular accident event recording, call in complaints from motoring public, and injury report completion/notification.)
Candidate Requirements:
  • Field phone calls / email follow-up regarding; crash events, spills, violations, citations, driver qualification and ELD issues
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office after business hours
  • Provide thorough communication via reports, email, and verbal follow-up with staff regarding PM and weekend recorded incidents
  • Organize and maintain files and records
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Coordinate first responders to serious crash event scenes
  • Other duties as assigned

Daily Responsibility
  • Answer all phone calls/emails in a timely and professional manner. Accurately report the details of the overnight events. Accomplish other duties as assigned

Office Skills
  • Ability to learn in-house/external computer programs; such as Risk master, Legacy, Pathfinder, and Corrective Action Dashboard
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to handle high volumes of phone and email communication. Triaging communication to correct person or department
  • Must work in a confidential capacity
  • Time management skills; prioritizing deadlines

Education/Experience
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent GED

Other Duties
  • Other ad hoc, temporary, and permanent duties as assigned
