Volt is immediately hiring Multiple Warehouse Safety Coordinators in Fremont, CA.
As a Warehouse Safety Coordinator, you will:
In this hands-on, floor-focused role, you'll partner closely with warehouse leadership and frontline teams to strengthen safety culture, reduce incidents, and maintain a compliant, well?run operation across all warehouse facilities.
  • Support daily safety compliance and risk?control activities across warehouse and receiving operations.
  • Identify safety risks, conduct routine inspections, and assist with corrective actions to ensure alignment with OSHA regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor warehouse processes to verify compliance with OSHA and all applicable local, state, and federal safety requirements.
  • Perform regular safety walks and inspections of docks, racking, forklifts, storage areas, chemical handling zones, and PPE usage.
  • Document unsafe conditions or behaviors and track corrective actions through completion.
  • Reinforce PPE requirements and warehouse safety rules.
  • Assist with incident, near?miss, and hazard reporting, including documentation and follow?up.
  • Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, corrective action logs, and related documentation.
  • Support updates to OSHA logs and internal safety reporting.
  • Coordinate and track safety training such as forklift certification, hazard awareness, and refresher courses.
  • Participate in new?hire safety orientation for Warehouse and Receiving staff.
  • Communicate safety reminders through signage, postings, and floor?level engagement.
  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and leads to reinforce SOPs and corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal audits, customer walkthroughs, and compliance reviews.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response readiness.
  • Perform additional safety?related duties as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:30am to 5:15pm
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify safety hazards and potential risks.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with warehouse personnel at all levels.
  • The ability to influence safe behaviors and reinforce safety standards in a fast?paced production environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and comfort working independently on the warehouse floor.
  • The ability to accurately document findings and follow corrective actions through to completion.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple warehouse buildings as needed.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental, Industrial, Operations, or a related field-or equivalent hands?on experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, operations, or safety?related environment.
  • Basic working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Vietnamese (preferred).

Payrate: $30.00 per hour
