Job Title: Lead Front Office Associate

Location:203 14th Street Northeast, East Grand Forks, MN 56721

Working Model:Onsite

Employee Type: 1.0 FTE - Full Time

Schedule:Monday- Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Fridays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

As a Lead Front Office Associate at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients and strive to deliver a positive and welcoming experience in every interaction. This position plays an important role in the continuity of care by providing administrative support to patients and stakeholders through appointment scheduling, processing paperwork, and handling inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing observation and support to Front Office Associates and the Front Office Registration staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Dedicate approximately 30% of weekly in-office time to coaching support staff, providing feedback, overseeing front desk activities, and adjusting workflows as needed.
  • Escalate staff concerns or performance issues to the Office Manager and/or Administrative Operations Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Support onboarding and training efforts for new support staff in partnership with Support Training Coordinators.
  • Assist with front office operations and support staff responsibilities as needed to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Open or close the clinic as required to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain a foundational understanding of billing processes and insurance coverage.
  • Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by leadership.

Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferred.
  • Ability to lead a small Front Office team successfully.
  • Physical requirements include occasionally lifting and moving office supplies which can include reams of paper that weigh up to 50lbs.
  • It is clearly understood that all names and materials seen in this position are strictly and highly confidential due to state and federal regulations on patient privacy. Compliance of all HIPAA related regulations will be strictly enforced by management.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will start at $20.00 hourly.

*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.
