Role Overview
Under general supervision of the Licensing Manager, the Licensing Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of product concept approvals, ensuring all licensing requirements are met, and maintaining strong relationships with licensors and internal departments. This role plays a key part in upholding brand integrity, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and supporting the overall efficiency of the Licensing Department.
how you will make an impact:
  • Obtain all necessary approvals from licensors and teams for all product concepts with proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of licensor feedback and project status, using WinCraft approvals software and external systems.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with licensed properties and related information.
  • Abide by pre-production sample requirements prior to releasing for order entry when necessary.
  • Alongside Licensing Management, be a point of contact for the licensor for art approvals and build a strong working relationship with the quality control team.
  • Maintain and manage a direct relationship with internal departments to ensure initial design development meets all licensing requirements.
  • Administer required design changes within the company prior to submitting artwork to licensing agencies.
  • Coordinate and maintain assets supplied by Licensors, ensuring timely distribution to internal team members.
  • Assist teammates on licensing-related issues to ensure all rules and requirements for submissions are understood.
  • Help lead resolution of licensing issues as they arise, working cross-functionally to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain current and proper knowledge of overall licensing practices.
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes with the licensing team, recommending changes that will deliver efficiency within the team.
  • Clear and concise communication, training teammates on best practices within the Licensing Department.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Licensing Management Team to support workflow across the Licensing Department.

  • The hourly range for this position is $18.00 - 18.50 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
