What is a Licensed Landscape Contractor?

A Licensed Landscape Contractor is a professional who is authorized by a state or local licensing board to design, install, and maintain landscaping projects for residential or commercial properties. They are required to meet specific educational, experience, and examination criteria to obtain their license. Licensed Landscape Contractors can perform tasks such as planting, irrigation system installation, hardscaping, and outdoor lighting. Hiring a licensed contractor ensures that the work will comply with local codes and industry standards, providing quality and legal protection for property owners.
