Media Center Support Responsibilities:
-Assist students and staff in the school media center
-Check library books and instructional materials in and out
-Organize, shelve, inventory, and maintain books and media resources
-Assist students with locating books, technology resources, and research materials
-Support literacy initiatives, reading programs, and book fairs
-Operate media center equipment, computers, printers, and audiovisual devices
-Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming media center environment
-Assist with preparing displays, bulletin boards, and promotional materials for literacy activities
Guidance & Student Support Responsibilities:
-Assist school counselors and guidance staff with student support activities
-Support social-emotional learning activities and school-wide behavior initiatives
-Monitor and supervise students during guidance groups, testing, lunch, arrival/dismissal, and other activities
-Assist with attendance follow-up, student check-ins, and student mentoring activities
-Help organize and maintain confidential student files and records in accordance with district policies
-Assist with student incentives, school recognition programs, and positive behavior supports
