PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
1. Provides direct supervision of students.
2. Ensures safety, security, and care of children.
3. Takes attendance; distributes snacks; assists with homework completion; and oversees using facilities, materials, and equipment.
4. Implements program activities.
5. Implements emergency evacuation procedures and first aid when necessary.
6. Documents students? accidents and injuries and completes accident reports.
7. Identifies student misconduct; completes incident reports.
8. Assists in keeping facilities neat and clean.
9. Maintains professionalism regarding school affairs.
10. Follows the established policies and procedures in accordance with the guidelines set by the Leon County School Board.
11. Acts in the best interests of students, following the highest standards of public education and supporting the mission of the Leon County Schools District.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
13. Capable of lifting/carrying 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; some physical activity required.

4. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with students and school staff.

6. Minimum one (1) year of documented experience working with children (preferred).
