This position can be based in Aurora, Colorado or Morrisville, North Carolina.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and evolution of processes and infrastructure to execute programs supporting rapid capability maturation and deployment.

  • Lead the integration of development pipelines leveraging automation with test-driven development tools and continuous integration/test frameworks.

  • Define and implement the build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards for the program.

  • Ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Lead the Agile development team to deliver end-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management framework.

  • Lead the building and configuration of delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology.

  • Lead the creations of scripts and/or templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.

  • Work closely with development teams to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system.

  • Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

  • Lead the monitoring and support for all installed systems and infrastructure.

  • Lead the development of custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

  • Lead the design of information and operational support systems.

  • Lead the installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of the operating systems, application software and system management tools.

  • Oversee the company's security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

  • Lead the evaluation of application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • United States Citizenship required

  • Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.

  • Must have the willingness to submit and successfully pass a polygraph.

  • Willing and able to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days

  • Bachelor's degree with 12 + years of software development experience; 10 years with a Master's; 8 years with a Ph.D.; 16+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Comprehensive technical expertise in a variety of DevSecOps toolkits, including Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, Git/Version Control Software, or comparable technologies

  • Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels

  • Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, and AWS Cloud architecture, security, and management

  • Experience successfully leading teams

  • Experience with Agile processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISM, CISSP or other Security Certifications (Required in first 60 days)

  • Favorably adjudicated CI Polygraph

  • Experience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements.

  • Experience identifying the needs for building automation, designing, and implementing CI/CD solutions.

  • Build or maintain CI/CD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for app and development teams to enable quicker build and deployment.

  • Successful experience leading a team of DevOps Engineers and/or System Administrators

  • Experience with Software development and deploying software into a cloud environment

  • Experience with successfully maintaining and updating an operational software baseline

Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $265,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
