Your Impact
A Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and day-to-day operations across retail, digital, and brand initiatives. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this position helps bring marketing plans to life through coordination, content execution, and cross-functional support.
The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while contributing to brand growth, retail performance, and customer engagement.
What You'll Do (Personnel Duties, Authority, and Responsibilities)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and events
  • Support product launches, promotions, and brand activations
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
  • Create and manage content for social media, email marketing, and digital platforms
  • Coordinate with creative teams to organize and maintain content assets
  • Provide light graphic design support for day-to-day needs, including simple flyers, digital assets, and basic marketing materials (if applicable)
  • Support community engagement efforts, including social interaction and influencer coordination
  • Assist with in-store activations, merchandising, and promotional execution
  • Support coordination of retail partner initiatives and timelines
  • Help execute vendor days, events, and retail programs
  • Assist in training support materials for budtenders, staff, and partners
  • Support planning and execution of trade shows, events, and community activations
  • Coordinate event logistics including timelines, materials, and on-site setup
  • Represent the brand at events and assist with customer engagement
  • Conduct market and consumer research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Track and report on campaign and channel performance metrics
  • Collect customer and retail feedback to support marketing insights
  • Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and project trackers
  • Coordinate cross-functional workflows with internal teams and external vendors
  • Support organization of marketing materials, product information, and content libraries
  • Assist in managing deliverables, deadlines, and day-to-day marketing operations

What You Bring (Qualifications)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of marketing, coordination, or related experience in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and community management
  • Familiarity with influencer coordination and digital engagement strategies
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics and performance tracking
  • Experience with packaging, print, or product development is a plus
  • Graphic design experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience working in regulated industries (cannabis preferred) and ability to navigate compliance requirements
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Agent Card (if applicable)
  • Passion for the cannabis industry and understanding of its unique market dynamics
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and general marketing tools
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
