What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with Lilly Library staff to promote services, spaces, and collections through programming, tours, and exhibits.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating First-Year Library Advisory Board meetings.
  • Support communications by creating social media and blog content in partnership with the Communications and Social Media Coordinator.
  • Participate in Writing 120 library instruction for first-year students.
  • Serve as a Residence Hall Librarian, building connections with students where they live and learn.
  • Contribute to the Student Outreach Team by brainstorming and implementing programs that engage undergraduates.
  • Provide research assistance and circulation support at the Lilly service desk.
  • Assist users through Ask a Librarian via chat and email.
  • Support collection development through catalog searching, resource selection, and analysis projects.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.00 to USD $22.84.
