Job description

The library is seeking a dependable student worker to provide support with day-to-day operations with circulation duties, including communicating with patrons, registering and updating patron records, answering phones, shelf reading, supporting interlibrary loan and document delivery services, undertaking catalog searches and room counts, checking library materials in and out, and assisting with book displays, signs, and other library special projects and events.
Must be enrolled as a student at Friends University.
Good time management skills, excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written skills, multitasking ability, and ability to work in a cohesive team
Must be available during library operation hours (morning, afternoon, evenings, and weekends). This position will work during weekends to start, with the possibility of weekdays and evenings in the future. Scheduling is discussed during the interview, and confirmed before the start of the semester and/or summer.
