The Human Resource Assistant supports the Human Resources department with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, training administration, compliance tracking, and general employee support. This position plays an important role in maintaining organized HR processes, supporting company culture, and ensuring a positive employee experience.


The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and onboarding support
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, training records, and compliance-related files
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and general HR administrative processes through Paylocity and other systems
  • Coordinate and track required trainings, safety documentation, and compliance deadlines
  • Respond to employee questions and provide administrative support related to HR policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll documentation
  • Prepare HR forms, reports, correspondence, and other departmental documents
  • Maintain confidentiality while supporting a positive, professional employee experience
  • Perform other related duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

  • HR, administrative, or office   experience required
  • Experience with Paylocity or HRIS   systems preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
