Job Description:

As a Commercial Inside Sales Representative at Liberty Mutual, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound calls from both new and existing customers and agents seeking commercial insurance solutions.

This role is ideal for those passionate about sales and dedicated to delivering exceptional service. You’ll gather key information during each call to craft tailored insurance proposals that meet the unique needs of every client.

This role involves spending a significant portion of the day on the phone, managing high call volumes while efficiently balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking tech-savvy, self-motivated representatives who can thrive in this dynamic setting and effectively manage their workload.

Start Dates: September 21, 2026 (Unlicensed Hires) & October 5, 2026 (Licensed Hires)
Interviews Begin: August 18, 2026

 

Qualified applicants will reside within 50 miles of our Liberty Lake, WA office.

 

Compensation: 

$58,000 - $65,000 expected first year total compensation.

$45,000 base salary + uncapped monthly sales incentive.

Comprehensive benefits from Day 1, including health and dental insurance, 401K, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements to help you keep balance in your personal and professional life.

Hybrid Schedule:

The business operates 6 days a week, with shifts assigned between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM PST. Qualified candidates are available to work within these operating hours.

Qualified candidates will also be available to work three days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office. The other two days you may work from home or in the office.

Training Schedule:

Unlicensed training begins 9/21/2026 & licensed training begins 10/5/2026.

Training days are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm PST.  

We provide comprehensive training for new hires, offering paid training of either 6 weeks licensed or 8 weeks for those who do not hold a Property and Casualty producer license. Attendance is mandatory during the first four months to support onboarding, training, and early performance development.


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, or insurance.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in multitasking, including effective communication and typing while engaging with customers.
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Ability to obtain required resident and non-resident insurance licenses.
  • Availability to work during Licensed Sales Center operating hours.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
