Job Summary
Leviat is seeking a Production Supervisor with knowledge of production processes and systems, coupled with strong multitasking abilities. The Production Supervisor will be tasked with enhancing productivity through innovative methods and inspiring staff to achieve higher performance levels. Success in this role requires a goal-oriented and systematic approach. This position will collaborate closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to prioritize safety and foster our safety culture.
Job Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and oversee employees
  • Ensure adherence to the production schedule
  • Assess quality of goods prior to shipping
  • Overseeing production staff, daily operations, and productivity
  • Manage records, communicate relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation
  • Maintain maintenance standards and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Conduct daily inspections, coordinate equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with other departments and customers
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required

Job Requirements
  • Experience in production supervision, management, or a related role
  • Familiarity with building materials manufacturing preferred, but not required
  • Effective time management and delegation skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Experience in training, influencing, motivating, and leading others
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours
  • This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands and fingers to grasp, push, and lift items
