Job Summary This position is advertised at the minimum hourly rate. Salary will be determined based on education and experience at the time of offer. **Applications are sought on behalf of the Superior Court in Yuma County.

All applications are forwarded to Superior Court Human Resources in Yuma County** NATURE OF WORK Under general supervision performs a variety of increasingly responsible tasks and services in support of court system automation and technology operations, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, testing and monitoring computer and communication systems, audio-video systems, and peripheral devices. Nature of Work (Illustrative Only) Performs installation, modification, maintains, trouble-shoots and repairs functions for standard technology and communication equipment; assists users with procedures, configuration, and use of desktop and laptop computers, printers, audio-video equipment, telephones, and related peripheral devices; administers security protocols; assists users with specialized Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) software applications) and other software; may travel to different court departments to train employees and/or offer technical assistance; compiles and sorts data for statistical reports; monitors systems to assure optimum use and performance; sets up and tests computer configurations, operating systems, and system software upgrades; modifies system configurations based on user requirements and provides training as needed; notifies users of system problems, initiates corrective action, and performs follow-up to ensure proper resolution; analyzes and resolves performance problems involving the operating system and associated hardware; performs related duties as required or assigned.

Experience and Education High school diploma or GED; AND two years of computer support experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved; ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This classification requires the applicant to pass criminal background checks; a valid Arizona State Driver's License may be required; Arizona Committee on Judicial Education and Training (COJET) yearly accreditation is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a standard office environment and Court facilities. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of: Applicable State of Arizona statutes, rules, administrative orders, policies and procedures, applicable federal rules and requirements; Yuma County and Superior Court policies and procedures; Superior Court in Yuma County- Rules of the Judicial Merit System and the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees; basic principles and practices of file management, record keeping, accounting and bookkeeping; legal terminology and court processes and procedures; computer hardware and software systems planning and technical support/training functions.

Skills in: Interacting with people of different social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds; working under pressure in a dynamic work environment with changing demands and priorities; reviewing documents for completeness and compliance with requirements; evaluating hardware and software system errors and technical support needs; operating a computer utilizing a variety of software applications in a networked environment; managing and perform multiple priorities under stressful situations. Ability to: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with judges, elected officials, staff, other agencies, and the general public; follow written and oral instructions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
