We are seeking an experienced Associate to join a dynamic team focused on complex litigation matters, with emphasis on the energy sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious attorney to expand their practice within a well-regarded firm known for its collaborative culture and professional development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support various stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and navigating the discovery process.

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide sophisticated analytical support for a variety of matters.

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, client-focused legal solutions.

  • Represent the firm and its clients in a professional and effective manner through both written and oral advocacy.



RequirementsQualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. Familiarity with the energy industry is highly preferred but not required.

  • Legal Skills: Proven ability to handle pleadings, motions, and discovery rules with precision.

  • Communication: Exceptional analytical, research, writing, and speaking skills are essential.

  • Education: Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.

  • Soft Skills: A rigorous work ethic, a desire to grow within the firm, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Professionalism: Must maintain strict client and firm confidentiality at all times.

  • Licensure: Must be admitted to practice in West Virginia.
