Job description

Job Title: Senior Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst (Emerging Technologies)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst to evaluate the risk and responsible deployment of our emerging technology and analytics solutions. You will be the primary authority on our internal risk frameworks, ensuring that every new initiative-specifically those involving advanced data models and automated decisioning systems-aligns with our legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
This is a strategic role for a risk professional who thrives at the intersection of innovation and protection. You will own the intake, assessment, and monitoring lifecycle, translating complex technical risks into actionable business controls. If you are a risk-minded analyst who can influence engineering outcomes without hindering innovation, this is an excellent opportunity to help us build trustworthy, transparent systems at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment & Governance
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end governance lifecycle for emerging technology use cases-from intake and scoping to socialized risk assessment and final project closure.
• Risk Identification: Proactively identify and document risks related to data accuracy, model bias, transparency, and human oversight. Partner with business owners to ensure they understand these risks and have clear mitigation plans.
• Artifact Development: Create and maintain governance templates, including risk profiles, decision logs, playbooks, and assessment checklists. Manage the enterprise inventory of systems, models, and third-party tools.
Operational Enablement & Reporting
• Cross-Functional Triage: Run the intake process by coordinating with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and IT stakeholders. Ensure that governance requirements are integrated into delivery milestones.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Define and track KPIs for system performance and risk health. Produce executive-level dashboards and reports to provide visibility to leadership, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Policy Stewardship: Support the organization's technology literacy programs by providing business owners with actionable guidance on responsible practices and policy changes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: 5-8 years of experience in governance, risk management, or technical compliance.
• Technical Proficiency: 1-2 years of experience working directly with advanced analytics, ML/data science workflows, or emerging technology projects.
• Process Mastery: Proven ability to operationalize governance processes (control testing, evidence collection, and risk reporting).
• Communication: Ability to synthesize complex technical risks into clear, audit-ready documentation and executive briefings.
Preferred Attributes
• Familiarity with "responsible" technology frameworks (e.g., model cards, risk registers, MLOps safety protocols).
• Experience using enterprise platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar workflow automation tools) to manage governance intake and evidence collection.
• Bachelor's degree in Data/Computer Science, Information Systems, or Risk/Compliance (or equivalent experience).
