Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Legal Secretary/Assistant to join our team in Long Valley, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and Paralegal while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and filings
  • Maintain and organize client files and legal records
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails
  • Schedule meetings
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive Contract and client information
  • Transcribe dictation
  • Ensuring all Legal documentation related to a project has been received
  • Interaction with Project Management & Sales regarding ongoing projects

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, legal assistant, or administrative professional preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
