Job Description: The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to legal staff, ensuring timely and accurate completion of day-to-day responsibilities.

This role includes preparing legal documents, assisting with contract-related tasks, and managing various types of correspondence and filings. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a broader team. Key Responsibilities: Assist with drafting, editing, and preparing contracts and related legal documents.

Review and process lien filings and other required legal documentation. Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials as needed. Organize and maintain legal files, records, and databases.

Support attorneys and legal team members with research, documentation, and administrative tasks. Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. Communicate professionally with internal teams and external parties.

Uphold confidentiality and maintain discretion when handling sensitive information. Qualifications: Required: College degree or equivalent professional experience. Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal environment.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage competing deadlines.

Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. Effective problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset. Preferred: Experience supporting contract preparation or corporate transactional work.
