Position Overview

The Legal Coordinator will support the Legal Department in managing key legal operations, document workflows, and cross-functional coordination. This role plays a critical part in contract administration, corporate recordkeeping, insurance claim notifications, and workers' compensation workflows. The Legal Coordinator is responsible for handling confidential legal documents and correspondence, maintaining organized legal files and tracking systems, coordinating document execution processes, and supporting legal team operations. This position requires a high level of organization, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Location:On-site in John's Creek, GA Monday-Friday 1st shift
Work Schedule:Monday-Friday 1st shift
Travel Specifics:No travel is required in this role
Competitive Total Rewards:Competitive salary of $61,000-$75,000 plus yearly bonus, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, sort, and route incoming legal correspondence, service documents, and other confidential materials.
  • Track time-sensitive legal matters, ensuring timely follow-up, response, and resolution.
  • Maintain organized legal files, corporate records, matter tracking logs, contract databases, and document retention systems.
  • Coordinate contract execution processes, including routing signatures, managing DocuSign workflows, coordinating notarizations, and distributing finalized documents.
  • Monitor deadlines for renewals, notices, certificates, and other legal or compliance-related obligations.
  • Support Legal Department operations by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, coordinating travel, and preparing materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, HR, Risk, Real Estate, and executive leadership.
  • Assist with intake, tracking, and organization of contracts, claims, litigation holds, subpoenas, and insurance documentation.
  • Support the preparation, filing, and maintenance of corporate governance and entity management records, as applicable.
  • Maintain and update legal templates, forms, trackers, and departmental procedures.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, notaries, and other third parties as directed.
  • Always ensure strict confidentiality of privileged and sensitive business information.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, special projects, and other Legal Department initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Observe all company safety requirements and assist with enforcement as appropriate.
