Job description

Kennedys, a global law firm with offices throughout the US, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant join our Seattle office.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site in our Seattle office.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Draft and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage the attorneys' calendar, scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings efficiently
  • Execute filing procedures, ensuring compliance with legal protocols and deadlines.

Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, insurance coverage a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional proofreading skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough working knowledge of and experience working and filing within the Federal and Washington court systems
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor

The annualized salary range for this role is $80,000-$85,000. However, this is contingent upon level of experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
