Job description

Wold Architects and Engineers is a dynamic, growth-oriented architectural and engineering firm headquartered in downtown Minneapolis. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Legal Assistant to join our corporate team.

As a key member of the corporate team, the Legal Assistant will provide administrative and operational support related to contracts, insurance, corporate records, and legal research. This position works closely with company leadership and internal departments to help manage legal documentation and support business operations. This role is ideal for an individual looking to grow their career within a collaborative and mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, proofread, and format contracts, legal documents, and professional correspondence
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research using available resources and databases
  • Support the management of corporate compliance activities by tracking deadlines and preparing required filings
  • Maintain organized and accurate legal files, contract records, and research documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Professional Growth & Development

  • Collaborate with external parties regarding contracts, insurance and legal correspondence
  • Exposure to legal, operational, and business functions across the organization.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve legal workflows and organizational efficiency.

Skills/Education:

  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Communications, Business Administration, Humanities, or a related field preferred
