Job description

Overview
As a Major Account Executive 4, you will play a pivotal role in executing Sharp's new business development strategy and driving sales growth across key enterprise accounts. Your primary focus will be on identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities through strategic engagement with C-level decision-makers and influencers within assigned large accounts. In parallel, you will manage and expand existing customer relationships to deepen solution adoption and increase account value. This includes cross-selling across Sharp's full portfolio-hardware, software, and services-to create integrated, high-impact solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business with executive-level contacts within assigned territory and target accounts.
  • Secure and conduct weekly client meetings (in-person or virtual) to uncover business needs and position Sharp's value.
  • Develop and deliver customized demonstrations, solution proposals, and ROI-driven presentations.
  • Lead the full sales cycle-from prospecting through contract negotiation to post-sale implementation.
  • Partner with internal sales, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) to manage pipeline, track activities, and maintain detailed client records.
  • Provide consistent reporting to senior management on sales pipeline, prospecting activity, and account progress.
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals and contribute to the growth of major account market share.
  • Take ownership of client onboarding and post-sale delivery coordination to ensure a smooth and impactful rollout.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant successful sales experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of outside B2B enterprise sales experience in multi-function printer (MFP), copier machines, technology, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions and engage confidently with C-level executives.
  • Experience with pre-sales and service-related support issues.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM systems.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Comfortable analyzing client environments to develop tailored, impactful solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with persuasive executive presence.
  • High proficiency in organizing and executing sales processes with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver customer success

The potential first-year earnings at quota for this role is the below range. Pay is made up of base salary, commissions, and bonuses.

$44,000-$58,000 USD
This role is also eligible for the company's prestigious Million Dollar Sales Club and President's Club. The starting base salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location with a range from the below.
