Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Location: BE&K Building Group - Raleigh, NC
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating the costs of electrical installations for various commercial construction projects. This role involves analyzing blueprints, determining material and labor costs, and preparing competitive project bids.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine the electrical requirements of projects.
  • Estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for electrical installations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed and accurate project bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market prices for materials and labor.
  • Evaluate potential profitability of projects and provide recommendations to management.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and solutions to increase project profitability.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with relevant electrical codes and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and cost performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
