Familiarity with property management software (such as Yardi or AppFolio), CRM systems, and leasing documentation is important. Excellent communication, customer service orientation, and persuasive negotiation abilities help you build rapport with prospective tenants. Leasing Associate - Join a Mission-Driven, Fast-Growing Team!
Seattle, WA | Full-Time | $25/hr + Commissions
About Us
Arboreal Management is the property management arm of Great Expectations, a fast-paced, mission-driven real estate investment firm focused on providing affordable, innovative, and profitable housing throughout the Pacific Northwest.
We manage over 6,000 apartment homes and are growing quickly. We believe in collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and building communities-not just buildings. Our team is small, driven, and deeply committed to changing how housing works.
About the Role
We're looking for a Leasing Associate to take ownership of portfolio of residential units in Seattle. You'll become the face of our communities to prospective tenants and a key contributor to our growth and success.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
What You'll Do
  • Respond to leads and conduct tours across multiple sites
  • Craft compelling property narratives and develop marketing strategies
  • Manage social media campaigns and online listings
  • Build rapport with prospective residents and close leases
  • Coordinate move-ins and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and the broader leasing team
  • Use tools and data to track performance and improve outcome
What You Bring
  • 2-4+ years of experience in leasing, sales, real estate, or a customer-facing role
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • A professional, can-do attitude and the ability to self-manage your time and priorities
  • Comfort with data, digital tools, and multitasking across locations
  • A desire to grow your career in real estate and learn from experienced mentors
  • Bonus points if you've used AppFolio or other leasing/PM software!
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Pay: $25.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Generous Commissions: Uncapped and performance-based
  • Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • 401k Matching
  • Career mentorship and development
  • A close-knit, mission-aligned team culture
Our Values
We're not your typical property management company. We care deeply about:
  • Inclusion & Diversity - In our hiring, partnerships, and how we serve residents
  • Teamwork - We only win as a team
  • Data-Driven Thinking - We seek the truth and act on it
  • Challenging Convention - We question what others take for granted
  • Respect for Residents - The people in our buildings are our partners
