Their duties often include greeting prospective tenants, showing properties, processing rental applications, handling paperwork, and responding to inquiries. Leasing assistants play an important role in ensuring a smooth leasing process and providing excellent customer service to potential and current tenants. They may also assist with marketing available units and conducting background checks. Overall, they help maintain occupancy rates and support the administrative functions of a leasing office.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a leasing assistant?
