The Job:

As a Senior Operations Manager, you'll be part of our Willard team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:

Direct and managing the day-to-day activities of the plant's operations, typically through subordinate operation Managers.

Foster a "safety first" culture through awareness, training, and accountability.

Provide guidance to help other operational leaders achieve established standards of service, quality, accuracy, and productivity.

Develop and set clear goals and expectations regarding performance and accountability and provide regular constructive feedback. Planning and execution will take center stage as you set individual and team priorities and proactively structure resources.

The ability to solve complex problems and/or work in collaboration with problem solving teams.

Seek measures that reduce rework and scrap to improve profit margin.

Manage the development of new production processes and Engineering changes.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to operations.

Leverage Lean Six Sigma and analytical skills to identify gaps and implement process improvements.

Provide support and training to Managers and Supervisors to meet or exceed Plant Measurables.

The Person:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; and ten years Manager experience in a manufacturing environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct meeting and/or presentations.

Experienced in Change Management and Continuous Improvement.
