As a Drug/GM Department Manager, you will oversee key departments that drive instock performance, inventory accuracy, seasonal execution, and sales. Main responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Drug and General Merchandise departments with a focus on customer service, merchandising, and instock conditions 

  • Execute planograms, resets, promotional sets, ad programs, and seasonal transitions accurately and on time 

  • Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and backroom areas 

  • Manage ordering, inventory levels, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy while minimizing shrink 

  • Monitor sales trends, movement reports, and seasonal needs to support ordering and merchandising recommendations 

  • Ensure compliance with company programs, safety standards, and operational procedures 

  • Support customers with product questions, promotions, and locating merchandise 

  • Provide daily direction, scheduling, training, and coaching to Drug/GM associates 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following: 

Soft skills: 

  • Strong customerservice focus and attention to detail 

  • Effective leadership, communication, and teambuilding skills 

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and problemsolving abilities 

  • Ability to manage multiple categories and shifting priorities 

Competencies: 

  • Merchandising execution and planogram compliance 

  • Inventory management, ordering, and shrink control 

  • Operational standards, safety, and compliance execution 

  • Sales performance and promotional execution 

Knowledge: 

  • Retail or general merchandise operations 

  • Inventory systems and merchandising standards (preferred) 

Abilities: 

  • Ability to review sales and inventory data to guide department planning 

  • Ability to train, coach, and develop associates 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  

  • Travel requirements: None 

  • Other requirements: Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company safety policies and Code of Business Conduct
