Duties
Help
The Office of Leadership and Career Development (OLCD) provides centralized support and expertise to create, administer, deliver, and track effective training and career development for the entire ICE workforce. OLCD is comprised of instructors, training content developers, instructional systems specialists, training coordinators, learning management system administrators, and other administrative personnel who support the training and career development of the ICE workforce and manage the Center of Excellence in Training facility.
As a Training Technician - (Learning Management System Administrator), at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties:
  • Updates the learning management system (LMS) with information including establishing and revising courses, managing learning events, and registration.
  • Compiles data, analysis, and/or reporting on a learning management system (LMS), its training content, its users, and its use/administration.
  • Independently reviews and troubleshoots training content for deployment and management in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Manage training content and users in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Produce and deliver/facilitate virtual instructor-led training, webinars, and other online and hybridized delivery events including train-the-trainer courses.
  • Assist in certifying collateral duty training managers and elevated access users.
  • Work with vendors, provides data and reporting on the platform and its use/administration.

4) Reviewing and testing training content for deployment and management in a learning management system (LMS).
5) Creating or updating user accounts in a learning management system (LMS).
