Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Fabrication Trainer. Schedule for the role will be Tuesday-Friday and hours are 5:00am-3:00pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The HR Training Associate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering department specific learning and development initiatives for the Sumter facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead the coordination, delivery, and maintenance of department specific training for all fulltime and contingent workers within the facility. Training may include, but are not limited to department specific OJT Checklists, annual department training plan, new hire & temporary training checklists, & Eaton corporate learning management system.
• Develop department specific training content utilizing various media including, but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, video & photography.
• Partner with department leaders to update training content, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with internal systems and programs.
• Serve as the department subject matter expert (SME) for training.
• Manage and document learning using the Eaton corporate learning management system (LMS).
• Manage department training updates & communications via monthly reports, department training matrixes, meetings & monitors.
• Support special projects, internal & external benchmarking and facilitate department training sessions as assigned.
• Drive for continuous improvement and support 5S+ initiatives in support of a Zero Incident Culture.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience in Sumter Eaton facility.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word)
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Sumter facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated proficiency with E-learning software (Articulate, Camtasia etc.)
• Train the trainer qualification
• Demonstrated training material development using the ADDIE model
• 1 year experience developing video content
• 1 year experience supporting HR processes
Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment while meeting set targets
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and MQ1
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams without authority
• Self-motivated / directed individual with well demonstrated written and verbal skills, along with great organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
