Systems Analyst – Warehouse Management System (WMS)

The IT Systems Analyst – Warehouse Management System (WMS) serves as the primary technical and functional resource for the Warehouse Management System, supporting system performance, troubleshooting, configuration, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally to optimize processes, manage system integrations, support upgrades and testing, develop SQL-based solutions, perform data validation, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions. The position also provides user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure efficient and reliable warehouse operations.

  • Serve as the primary support resource for the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and user support.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for warehouse system functionality and related business processes.
  • Analyze warehouse operations and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced system utilization .
  • Investigate and resolve complex application, data, and process issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries, reports, procedures, and data validation processes.
  • Support and monitor integrations between WMS, ERP, EDI, transportation, and other enterprise applications.
  • Configure and extend system functionality using available development, configuration, and automation tools.
  • Participate in application upgrades, testing, deployments, and ongoing system maintenance activities.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, training materials, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Partner with software vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Promote best practices and drive adoption of effective system and business processes.
  • Train and support end users across warehouse and operational functions.
  • Participate in after-hours support activities as needed during upgrades, deployments, or critical operational events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems or other enterprise business applications in a manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain environment.
  • Experience analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and implementing system solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
Other Skills and Abilities We’re Looking For:
  • Experience with Infios, Körber, or HighJump WMS platforms.
  • Experience configuring, customizing, or extending WMS applications using platform development, automation, or configuration tools.
  • Experience supporting warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations, including ERP, EDI, transportation management systems, APIs, and middleware.
  • Experience with implementations, upgrades, testing, documentation, training, and user support. Experience managing multiple projects, support requests, and enhancement initiatives in a fast-paced operational environment.
