Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Learning & Development Facilitator will be knowledgeable in facilitation and/or instructional design best practices, create training materials, and provide support and guidance to learners. In this role, you will be expected to deliver and develop virtual training programs complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources for new and current employees efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for managing virtual new hire class participants in a high-volume capacity while being accountable for learners' engagement in class and ability to apply the learned materials in order for them to advance to a team outside of training.

ESSENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the full life-cycle of new Endurance employees' onboarding and training experience. Engaging new team members to ensure set up prior to training, delivering the training, and facilitating a handoff meeting with management.
  • Develop new employees into successful team members to be transitioned to a team manager with a high probability of success in their hired role.
  • Monitor and mentor current employees to elevate their skill level to reach new goals.
  • Build relationships with management to identify departmental training needs.
  • Utilize and create training tools such as PowerPoints, handouts, job aids, reference guides, and more that can be deliverable resources for training purposes.
  • Become efficient with the Learning Management System technology capabilities and create needed courses using the company's preferred LMS platform.
  • Communicate regularly with the training department team members in support of cross-class facilitation and support.
  • Network and build relationships with team members in the departments you provide training support for.
  • Prioritize and engage new and current employees using multi-channel training methods and communication.
  • Other duties as assigned or as business needs arise.  

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • 5 – 8 years + of Training / Facilitation and/or Classroom Management experience preferred in a high-volume virtual environment (agency and/or corporate experience)
  • Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
  • Proven work experience in training, facilitation, developing employees, and coaching
  • Must be a proactive and enthusiastic team player with exceptional people skills
  • Confident, captivating, and effective public speaker
  • Devoted to the education, growth, and success of each learner
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
  • Successfully convey complex materials and processes
  • Customer and employee experience focused
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to recognize a problem or potential problem and react quickly and effectively
  • Punctuality and dependability are crucial
  • Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe Acrobat
  • High School education or equivalent is required

The compensation range for this position is: $60,000-$65,000 annually

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods; repetitive motions; use hands to handle equipment or controls; reach with hands and arms; typing on keyboard; viewing computer screen extended periods; speak clearly and hearing
  • Regular use of typical office equipment, computer software, programs, and methods of communication such as a computer, e-mail, phone system, and messaging.
  • In a remote work environment, being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner is an essential function of the job. Camera/video usage is required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
