The Manager of Leadership Development is an integral part of St. Luke's talent development team, responsible for guiding our learning organization through the design, development and delivery of enterprise leadership development programs and learning for all team members.
In addition to leading a high-performing team, they will focus on strengthening leadership competencies and capabilities across programs, assessments, training and succession planning that drive organizational culture, performance and outcomes.
This position reports to the Director of Talent Development and works directly with talent management leadership, HR Business Partners, and system leaders to support a learning organization and strategic system initiatives.
What You Can Expect:
  • Collaborates with talent management, HR Business Partners and senior leaders on the strategic planning of leadership development programs, services and policies.
  • Responsible for managing multiple developmental and continuous learning solutions for all team members, including a focused effort on leadership development programming and coaching for new, mid-level and senior leaders.
  • Oversees leadership development and learning design lifecycle - from scoping, research and design, development, implementation and success measurement.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, thought leadership and operational discipline to deliver timely results and ensure programs and services are aligned to industry practice and organizational needs.
  • Regularly assesses leadership performance and organizational/healthcare strategic shifts. Translates identified gaps, opportunities and shifts into new or updated development opportunities and competencies with specific data measurements.
  • Responsible for the optimization of various technologies, learning methods, and processes that strengthen learner experience, timeliness, reach and impact as well as operational delivery and efficiencies.
  • Partner with learning management and instructional design leadership to implement long-term strategies to drive a continuous culture of learning, onboarding, leader excellence and engagement for all.
  • Responsible for project and change management strategies and communications, including work-plans and timelines and resourcing, and leveraging existing governance structures
  • Leads, develops and mentors Talent Development (HR) team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in leadership development, organizational leadership, business administration or similiar
Experience: Design and delivering leadership development programming and/or learning initiatives in healthcare or large organizations
