Program Manager – LMS Transformation & SAP SuccessFactors Migration
The Program Manager will lead Milestone''s enterprise-wide Learning Management System (LMS) transformation program, overseeing the migration from SumTotal LMS to SAP SuccessFactors Learning. This strategic leadership role is responsible for managing all phases of the program, including planning, governance, stakeholder alignment, data migration readiness, curriculum transformation, system implementation, compliance oversight, and organizational change management.
The Program Manager will lead cross-functional workstreams spanning HR, Legal, Compliance, Quality, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and other business functions. Working closely with executive sponsors, business leaders, system integrators, and project teams, this role will ensure successful delivery of the LMS transformation while maintaining GxP compliance and minimizing business disruption.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex enterprise technology transformation programs within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated environments and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Governance
  • Lead the end-to-end LMS transformation program, including migration from SumTotal to SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
  • Establish program governance, operating models, communication plans, and escalation processes.
  • Define and manage program scope, objectives, milestones, budget, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Lead steering committee meetings and governance forums.
Cross-Functional Workstream Management
  • Direct and coordinate multiple business and technical workstreams across the organization.
  • Partner with functional leaders responsible for curriculum review, training content, compliance, and migration activities.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, project deliverables, and organizational objectives.
  • Manage interdependencies across teams and drive issue resolution.
LMS Migration & Transformation Oversight
  • Oversee current-state assessment and future-state learning process design.
  • Guide curriculum optimization, training content review, and migration planning activities.
  • Ensure successful execution of data cleanup, migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts.
  • Drive implementation readiness and deployment planning activities.
  • Monitor adoption, training effectiveness, and post-implementation stabilization.
Vendor & Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with system integrators, implementation vendors, and software providers.
  • Hold vendors accountable for project commitments, quality standards, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and decision-making between business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Review statements of work, project plans, risks, and vendor deliverables.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure program activities align with GxP regulations, quality standards, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Quality and Compliance teams to support audit readiness and validation activities.
  • Lead risk identification, mitigation, escalation, and contingency planning.
  • Ensure training records and compliance-critical data are protected throughout migration activities.
Change Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive organizational readiness and adoption of future-state learning processes.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and consensus-building across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and execution excellence across the program.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience leading enterprise technology, business transformation, or system implementation programs.
  • Experience leading LMS, HRIS, ERP, or enterprise software implementation and migration programs.
  • Experience managing third-party system integrators, implementation partners, and software vendors.
  • Strong understanding of GxP-regulated environments and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives in matrix organizations.
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning implementations.
