Summary:
The LMS Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) and learning technology platforms. This role ensures a seamless and engaging learning experience for employees, leaders, and administrators while supporting compliance training, leadership development, onboarding, and continuous learning initiatives. The LMS Administrator serves as the primary subject matter expert for learning technologies and partners with Human Resources, Learning & Development, HRIS, Information Technology, Compliance, Operations, and external vendors to deliver effective and scalable learning solutions across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System, including user access, permissions, curricula, certifications, learning paths, and course assignments.
  • Configure and manage enrollment rules, notifications, completion tracking, and learning catalogs.
  • Maintain organizational structures and system configurations to support business needs.
  • Monitor LMS performance and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of LMS upgrades, releases, and new features.
  • Upload, test, publish, and maintain eLearning content and learning assets.
  • Ensure compatibility of learning content with SCORM, AICC, xAPI, and other supported standards.
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to implement and maintain training programs and digital learning solutions.
  • Manage content version control and archival processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute LMS reports, dashboards, and training analytics.
  • Track learner participation, training completion, compliance metrics, and learning effectiveness.
  • Support Power BI reporting and learning analytics initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of learning-related data.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS-related issues and system support.
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and external vendors to support LMS integrations and data synchronization.
  • Monitor data feeds between LMS, HRIS, UKG, talent management systems, and other enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Tier 2 support to learners, managers, and LMS administrators.
  • Create and maintain user guides, training documentation, job aids, and support materials.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide consultation to administrators and business stakeholders.
  • Support compliance training programs and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure learning records are secure, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Maintain LMS governance standards, documentation, and system controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Research emerging learning technologies and recommend enhancements that improve learning outcomes and business results.
  • Participate in learning technology projects, implementations, and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Information Systems, Business Administration, Education, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
  • Three to five years of Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise learning and talent development technologies.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and learning analytics.
  • Experience troubleshooting system issues and supporting end users.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Learning & Development, and external vendors.

Additional Qualifications, Preferred
  • Experience with UKG Learning, Cornerstone, Saba, SuccessFactors Learning, Workday Learning, or similar LMS platforms.
  • Experience supporting HRIS integrations and enterprise software systems.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, retail, distribution, logistics, or other large-scale operational environments.
  • Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, xAPI, and other eLearning standards.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
