Learning & Development Leader (Oracle LMS Owner) 

Hybrid - Irving, TX (2 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Leader, who will split time between managing our learning platform (Oracle HCM Learning) and designing modern, high-impact training experiences that support operational excellence across our clubs.  This role reports to the VP of Learning & Development and partners closely with HR, Risk & Compliance, functional leaders, and club teams to ensure learning is accessible, measurable, and aligned to business priorities. 

What You'll Do 

Oracle LMS Administration & Ownership (70%) 

  • Serve as the system owner and subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Learning (Oracle LMS), ensuring platform stability, accuracy, and optimal configuration. 
  • Manage learning initiatives, assignments, eligibility profiles, autoenrollment rules, and learning catalogs. 
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor completion, compliance, and learning effectiveness. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Compliance, Operations, and IT to align learning technology with business priorities. 
  • Establish governance standards, improve processes, and contribute to the learning technology roadmap and future enhancements. 
  • Oversee user access, security roles, data integrity, and ongoing system maintenance. 
  • Troubleshoot LMS issues and partner with Oracle Support and HRIS on system defects and enhancements. 

Instructional Design & Development (30%) 

  • Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and design learning solutions tied to measurable outcomes. 
  • Design and develop engaging, learner-centered content across modalities (eLearning, VILT, video, microlearning, job aids, blended solutions) using tools such as Articulate 360, Synthesia, Vyond, and related platforms. 
  • Build assessments and application activities to reinforce learning, measure effectiveness, and continuously improve programs based on feedback and data. 
  • Manage project timelines, scope, vendor coordination, and documentation to deliver high-quality, accessible learning experiences. 
  • Partner with leaders to identify performance gaps and define measurable learning outcomes.  
  • Design modern learning in multiple formats (eLearning, VILT, microlearning, video, job aids).  
  • Develop content using Articulate 360, Vyond, Synthesia, Adobe, and related tools.  
  • Build assessments and incorporate learner feedback to continuously improve training. 

About You 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Information Systems, or related field. 
  • 4-7+ years of experience managing an enterprise LMS, preferably Oracle Learning (Oracle HCM Cloud)
  • Strong understanding of compliance training, certification management, and largescale learning deployments. 
  • Experience partnering with HRIS and external vendors on system configuration and optimization. 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building reports and dashboards.
