About the Role:

The PitchBook Learning & Development team is a global team, with teammates in Seattle, New York & London, and serves all of PitchBook's learning, leadership development, career development and talent management needs in a way that grows individuals and the business. Our team is a focused, effective, and fun group of professionals with a passion for continuous learning, developing others, and making a positive impact on our organization. This role contributes significantly to the learning and development of PitchBook employees. 

The Sr. Program Manager, Employee Development is a strategic, enterprisefocused role responsible for building the capabilities PitchBook employees need to succeed today and adapt for the future. This includes driving PitchBook's enterprise AI learning and skillbuilding strategy, while continuing to own and manage core employee development programs that reinforce our values, competencies, and skillsbased approach to growth. 

In the near term, this role plays a central role in designing and delivering enterprisewide AI learning and enablement, ensuring employees, managers, and departments have the confidence, capability, and practical skills to use AI responsibly and effectively in their work. In parallel, this role owns and evolves foundational learning experiences that onboard employees to the PitchBook Values and support development against our core competencies and skills. Through this work, the Sr. Program Manager helps advance PitchBook's longterm goal of becoming a skillsbased organization, where development is clear, practical, and aligned to real work and business outcomes. 

This role partners closely with Learning & Development teammates, Talent Management, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to align capabilitybuilding with PitchBook's strategy, workforce needs, and people priorities. The Sr. Program Manager applies their expertise in learning and talent development to assess needs, propose and build solutions, and measure the effectiveness of L&D initiatives that help employees grow their skills and experience, build networks, and further their career aspirations. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of PitchBook's enterprise AI enablement strategy, building employee, manager, and department capability through a clear AI skills framework, persona-based learning paths, and applied, usecasebased learning experiences aligned to real work outcomes
  • Own, sustain, and evolve foundational employee development programs, including solutions to ensure employees are onboarded to the PitchBook Values and equipped to own and drive their development in line with our core competencies and skills
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions that support employee development which may include workshop facilitation, self-directed courses or resources, mentoring programming, or peer learning forums
  • Support PitchBook's shift toward a skills-based organization through owning and evolving PitchBook core competencies and enterprise skills frameworks and contributing to the learning solutions that support building core and emerging capabilities, such as AI, are thoughtfully integrated into existing development models
  • Partner with Leadership Development and Talent Management colleagues to enable manager support for employee development by equipping managers with learning, tools, and guidance to coach skill growth, reinforce effective AI use, and lead teams through ongoing change
  • Partner with business leaders and departments to align capability building with team priorities, support AI adoption planning, and ensure learning investments translate into measurable productivity and impact
  • Define and track success metrics across AI enablement and employee development initiatives, using data, feedback, and sentiment insights to continuously improve learning strategy and demonstrate impact
  • Stay current on trends in learning, employee development, AI enablement, and best practices in building skills-based organizations
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors 
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing programs in learning and leadership development, talent development or other relevant HR program management experience
  • Proven experience building and owning innovative and effective L&D programs, tools and resources supporting employee development
  • Successfully designs, develops and manages complex programs
  • AI fluency (not technical expertise) that includes understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use, with the curiosity and adaptability to stay current on emerging tools and translate that learning into practical, role relevant enablement
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and complete work with a high level of quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Creative thinker, self-starter with a proactive approach to resolving problems and issues
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive program proposals and continuous improvement
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Eager to learn, grow, and build skills, while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
  • Duties require periodically working outside normal working hours (evenings, early mornings) to support a global employee population
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation

  • Annual base salary: $135,000-$150,000
  • Target annual bonus percentage: 10%

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
