About Company: Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofits organization that provides a comprehensive array of behavioral health services for individuals of all ages who are suffering from mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders. We strive to be the foundation of recovery by providing multiple services along a continuum of care. Our services include but are not limited to: crisis stabilization, traditional outpatient services, psychiatric services, HIV prevention and education, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), treatment and other court-related services, military family services, community housing, pharmacy, employment and telehealth services. We are headquartered in Oklahoma City and have offices in Chandler, Chickasha, El Reno, Elk City, Hobart, Kingfisher, Lawton, Norman, Shawnee, Watonga, Weatherford, Yukon and Colorado Springs, CO. About the Role: The Counseling Internship is designed to provide aspiring mental health professionals with hands-on experience in a supportive healthcare environment. Interns will work closely with licensed counselors to develop their skills in client assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques. The primary goal of this internship is to prepare candidates for future roles in counseling by exposing them to real-world scenarios and client interactions. Interns will also gain insight into the operational aspects of a counseling practice, including documentation and ethical considerations. Ultimately, this role aims to foster professional growth and enhance the intern's ability to contribute positively to the mental health field. Minimum Qualifications:
