Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


ย ย ย ย Direct the training delivery activities of the Training and Certification Associates on a shift.
ย ย ย ย Lead training activities, evaluate team training delivery effectiveness, conduct walk-arounds and shift hand-offs.
ย ย ย ย Assist Training department with instructional design activities including task analysis, writing learning objectives, determining instructional strategies and assessment techniques, and creating courseware materials and trainer lesson plans.
ย ย ย ย Assist in the development, implementation, and management of training devices that replicate or simulate real production equipment and production techniques.
ย ย ย ย Work 1:1 daily with associates to ensure accurate training and support.
ย ย ย ย Prepare reports, weekly and monthly.
ย ย ย ย Support the training team and other departments in the creation, maintenance, and control of procedures, work instructions, best practices, forms, and other training related documents.
ย ย ย ย Prepare and distribute documents and forms as needed.
ย ย ย ย Carry out internal auditing assignments including performing audits and maintaining records of audit activities.
ย ย ย ย Give support to other departments that work with the training team.
ย ย ย ย Ability to work in a structured training environment.
ย ย ย ย All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education/ Skills/ Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) from a two-year college; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Training Requirements:

Language:

ย ย ย ย Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.ย 
ย ย ย ย Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.ย 
ย ย ย ย Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.ย 
ย ย ย ย Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
ย ย ย ย Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

ย ย ย ย Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.ย 
ย ย ย ย Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.


Physical Skills and Abilities:

ย ย ย ย Ability to be on the factory floor for long periods of time, potentially working across all shifts at times.
ย ย ย ย Stamina to work 50+ hours/week to support plant performance.
