Title: IT Associate Cloud Development
Location: Winston Salem, NC
This is an individual contributor role that operates under supervision and is part of a 12 to 18-month training and development program. The program includes rotational experiences and formal mentorship, designed to provide a broad range of experiences across various facets of Information Technology (IT). Participants will gain exposure to different roles within IT departments, understand all disciplines, and be assigned a path for training and skill development. Ultimately, they will be placed in a role based on their affinity and skills. These disciplines are:
  • Front End Development (UIs, Workflow, API development, etc.)
  • Back End Development (Services, Database, middleware, integrations, etc.)
  • Data, Analytics and Machine Learning (Reporting, Database, Big data sources, ETL processes, machine learning)
  • Change Management and Test Automation (Automated test structures, build and release automation, CI/CD pipeline management, version control, etc.)

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
  • Observe and learn from experienced IT team members
  • Perform assigned projects and responsibilities throughout the various information technology departments
  • Assist with and handle technical support issues that arise within your assigned rotational area
  • Under direction of your IT trainer, troubleshoot hardware and/or software issues
  • Aid team members and managers as needed
  • Maintain and apply current knowledge of IT system modifications, development of new software programs or services and other pertinent changes
  • Acts in the place of an absent employee if necessary
  • Engages in assigned training projects to gain an understanding of the disciplines within the Information Technology Department and different job functions.
  • Achieve required certifications
  • Actively participates in trainee development meetings and/or conferences
  • As the need arises, the candidate can be assigned to special or ongoing projects
  • Develop POCs (Proof of Concepts) and solutions utilizing Cloud principles and tools
  • Research and keep up to date on evolving technology, best practices and tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field
  • Some travel may be required (less than 20% of the time)
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft applications such as Word and Outlook.
