Position Purpose:
Responsible for all site human resources (HR) activities including benefits, associate growth and development, associate relations, staffing and payroll. Interacts with all associates, PFG corporate office, PFG and CBI subsidiaries, and governmental and private agencies. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Assist managers in staffing all vacancies. Ensure all administrative items are completed according to established guidelines ( i.e., I-9
    forms, employment applications).
  • Assist in the training of management in application of policies and procedure. Assess training needs within the company and
    coordinate delivery of appropriate information (i.e., computer skills, management skills, etc.)
  • Function as an associate advocate by representing associates' issues to management as appropriate. Work with management team in resolving associate issues by investigating concerns and sharing resolution alternatives.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of company policies and procedures to include effective communications to associates.
    Advise management of fair and consistent application of all approved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure benefits are explained to new associates and their enrollment is processed at appropriate time. Ensure all company benefits are communicated and administered in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Processes front-end payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Reviews and validates employee data, timekeeping records, payroll adjustments, deductions, and earnings prior to payroll submission.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
