SPORTIME currently offers 192 indoor and outdoor tennis courts and 131 pickleball courts, as well as rinks, turf, camps, gyms and more, at sites across Long Island, in NYC, in Westchester and in the NY Capital Region. Eager Explorers Daycare at SPORTIME - we are a small daycare, licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), located within SPORTIME Schenectady. As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
  • Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
  • Help maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
  • Work alongside a lead teacher and director to ensure a quality experience is had by all
  • Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
  • Complete extensive training on child care and child development topics.
Qualifications:
  • Energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
    • The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
    • At least 1 year experience working with children
  • Ability to pass a background check
COMPENSATION: $19.00 per hourย 
SCHEDULE: Part-time
