The multimedia learning content developer is responsible for creating multimedia and interactive content to expand Wash's internal training development programs. Builds industry-leading training courses that help professional technicians advance their careers and their businesses. Utilizes emerging multimedia technology to create engaging learning products that effectively communicate objectives. Develops content for multiple modalities including mobile devices, video, desktop, 3D interactive, embedded performance support, podcasts and webinars.
*This is a hybrid role"
Estimated Salary: $103,000 to $110,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities
What you will do:
  • Create engaging multimedia and interactive learning including multi-scene video
  • Design and implement original graphics, video, animations, and interactive HTML5 modules that support learning projects.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, assessments, and interactive simulations based on judgment of key technical content.
  • Design, write, edit, review, and test multimedia materials according to industry standards
  • Plan and direct studio and on-location video productions
  • Produce screen-capture video on PC or mobile with voiceover (Camtasia or OBS)
  • Implement content translations and subtitles
  • Support non-technical content contributors with mentoring and editing about multimedia
  • Maintain project documentation, course folders, archives, and reusable digital assets.
  • Publish content to appropriate channels including the streaming platforms, learning management systems and social media.

What we are looking for:
  • BA/BS degree or 5+ years working in multimedia and training development
  • Video, audio, and animation editing, and development experience (Premier, After Affects)
  • Visual design experience (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Studio video, audio, and lighting production experience
  • Experience with social media, web technology, HTML5, CSS, and distributed cloud services
  • Passion for the application of Learning & Development to solve real business needs.
