Job description

Learning Express Glen Ellyn is looking for a reliable, energetic Retail Sales Associate who loves working with people and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment.
We are more than just a toy store — we create experiences through exceptional customer service, product demonstrations, and community events.
Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers and drive sales through upselling and add-ons
  • Confidently demo toys and stay current on product knowledge
  • Provide high-quality customer service and assist with product selection
  • Operate POS system (Counterpoint) efficiently and accurately
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise (boxes may exceed 30 lbs)
  • Support and participate in store events
  • Assist with social media content when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Schedule:

  • Saturday–Wednesday: 10 AM–5 PM
  • Thursday–Friday: 10 AM–8 PM
  • Shifts: 10–5 (Sat–Wed) and 10–3:30 or 3:30–8:30 (Thurs–Fri)
We are seeking candidates with general open availability and flexibility in their schedule.

Qualifications:

  • No retail experience required — we will train the right person
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing to learn and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Able to work in a team environment
