Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45 am - 3:15 pm
Job Summary: The Health Associate is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the health office including providing skilled nursing services, administration of routine medical and specialized health procedures, medication administration and management, maintenance of health records, evaluation, health screening services, and health education.
Qualifications: LPN and/or RN license is preferred. Prior experience in pediatrics, school nursing, generalized nursing, triage and/or public or mental health is preferred. First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Compensation: Hourly rate from $21.27 to $29.98 and benefits are pursuant to the Educational Support Professionals' Collective Bargaining Agreement. Starting pay depends on qualifications and experience.
