TITLE: Learning Support Team Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Schools
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: 260-Day Contract
SALARY: Commensurate with Experience
LOCATION: Decatur Township Central Office
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Curriculum and Instruction Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Superintendent and Curriculum and Instruction Team. This role involves coordinating and organizing various tasks related to curriculum development, implementation, and assessment, ensuring efficient operation within the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains confidentiality of information.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Superintendent or his or her designee may assign.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use creative and collaborative problem-solving to accomplish goals.
- Facilitates grant-writing.
- Support MSD of Decatur Township decisions and direction relevant to matters of policy.
- Address concerns and offer suggestions appropriately and confidentially.
- Responsible for maintaining all department budgets and expenditures.
- Works with the District Grant Administrator and Assistant Superintendent to oversee all state and federal grant budgets and expenditures as assigned.
- Maintains all department and testing related calendars and deadlines.
- Provides support to the CTC, to maintain accurate student records as they pertain to state testing.
- This includes obtaining all IREAD test results for new students, maintaining databases to ensure the accuracy of students who require testing/retesting, as well as GCE waivers.
- Works with the schools and Director of Student and Family Engagement to process all student discipline and expulsion cases.
- Completes the district Summer School estimate and final report annually.
- Oversees the state ES report.
- Schedules meetings as needed including; booking rooms, logistics, catering, claims and/or sign-in sheets.
- Responsible for booking all district travel.
- Assist with coordination of registration and provides support to the annual backpack/supply drive.
- Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent.
