The Role
CSI is looking for a detail-oriented Learning Systems Specialist to support and continuously improve the technology, operations, analytics, and learner experience that power employee development across the organization. This role serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for CSI's Learning Management System (LMS), partnering with the Employee Development Manager to ensure learning technology effectively supports employee growth and business performance.
From onboarding and role-based learning to leadership development, product training, and compliance, you'll configure and optimize learning experiences, develop meaningful dashboards and reporting, and continuously improve how employees interact with learning across CSI. What You'll Be Doing
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and continuously improve CSI's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Configure and maintain users, learning paths, curricula, certifications, assignments, automation, and learning records.
  • Design and maintain role-based onboarding experiences, functional learning pages, learning pathways, dashboards, and learner resources.
  • Create an intuitive learner experience that enables employees to easily access learning across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Support a geographically dispersed workforce by optimizing learning experiences for employees working in manufacturing, distribution, field service, sales, and office environments.
  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards and reporting that provide leaders with meaningful visibility into onboarding, compliance, certifications, learning progress, and employee development.
  • Create meaningful visualizations using LMS reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Analyze learning data and LMS analytics to identify trends, improve learner engagement, measure program effectiveness, and support data-driven business decisions.
  • Become CSI's internal expert on the organization's Learning Management System, including configuration, reporting capabilities, and system administration.
  • Leverage AI-enabled workplace tools to improve learning operations, reporting, communications, and administrative efficiency while maintaining data integrity.
  • Partner with the Employee Development Manager to continuously improve learning operations, automate administrative processes, and enhance the employee learning experience.
  • Organize, publish, test, and maintain learning content, curricula, certifications, and learning resources within the LMS.
  • Provide exceptional support to learners and leaders by troubleshooting system issues and improving system usability and adoption.
  • Research emerging learning technologies and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and learner engagement.

Education/Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience administering business software, enterprise systems, Learning Management Systems, or similar technology platforms.
  • Experience administering or supporting enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred. Experience with platforms such as Absorb, Brainier, or other enterprise learning platforms is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software applications and become a system subject matter expert.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience creating custom reports, dashboards, and business analytics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated comfort using AI-enabled workplace tools to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance reporting and learning operations.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee development, or learning operations preferred.
  • Manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or business-to-business experience preferred.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
